1.) Techniques on Watercolour Class 水彩画

This course is for teens or adults with or without background in art to explore, experience and enjoy the water colour painting.  The main focus of this course is for students to learn how about water colours medium. Syllabus covers water colouring techniques, blending, texturing, toning, mixing and related tools. This water colour painting course will cover how to express yourself creatively through the use of water colour painting. Wide variety of subjects from trees, bids, scenery, flowers etc. Teaching approach is to relax, explore and learn at your own pace. Teens or adults can use it as relaxation from study or work.

2.) Oil/Acrylic Painting Class 油画/压克力画

Learn to draw and paint Still Life and landscape or objects using oil or acrylics, including composition of masses, it’s form and cast shadows from direct observation. Learning the color of the light source and its impact on observed colour. Get to know the basic shapes and volumes, complex shapes based on simple components, folds and drapery. Learning the brush techniques and paint application methods, direct painting and drawing, and linear perspective.

Learning outcome: Student will be able to handle conventional oil/acrylic brush techniques as an alternative mode of expressing forms. The painting is ready to hang on the wall.

3.) Drawing & Sketching Class 素描画

Learn the different sketching techniques using pencil and charcoal. Once you know how to draw and sketch, there is nothing more exhilarating than getting a good start on a drawing. And, often there is nothing more terrifying than watching your drawing evaporate in front of your eyes as it turns into a stiff, brittle echo of your dynamic beginning gesture. It’s very difficult to hold onto that initial gesture while working on a long-term drawing. Our experienced teacher will share some personal tips on how to translate the expression and power you captured in your initial sketch drawings into your long-term drawing or painting.

4.) Pastel Painting Class 粉彩画
Pastel painting class is for adult to learn this traditional art medium - pastels, which can be in the form of dry, oil or wax based. It covers drawing, colouring techniques, blending, mixing and shadow casting. The artwork including human, scenery, still life, portrait, animals, bird etc.

5.) Batik Painting Class 蜡染巴迪画
Batik painting is a traditio al technique of fabric design origin in Java. It is also an interesting medium for contemporary painting. Students will be introduced to the history of batik, its traditional batik making process, the techniques and tools like 'tjanting' and dyeing. No prerequisite skills needed. At the end of the class, students are able to know the whole process of batik painting and express their thoughts and creativity in batik art.

6.) Basic Caricature Drawing Class 基础卡通漫画
Come and learn in the fun way of drawing caricature. Caricature is a portrait that exaggerates or distorts the essence of a person, animal or object to create an easily identifiable visual likeness. Students will be learning the basic caricature drawing with step-by-step guidance from our artist.

Wednesday to Friday: 11am-9.00pm
Saturday: 9:30am-6:30pm
Sunday: 9:30am-4:30pm
