Art Jamming is often a therapeutic session of taking oneself out from the stresses of life to a place of tranquillity and self-expression. With the relaxing and conducive studio environment, one is free to express his or her own individuality and creativity through art making. No prior experience is needed. Bring home art-piece is ready to hang.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday:  11am - 2pm / 2pm - 5pm / 6pm - 9pm

Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 1pm / 1pm - 4pm

Secondary Fine Art Class 中学组纯美术

The course includes Drawing and Painting, Theme Expression, Basic Design, Mixedmedia, 3D Art, and Appropriation of Famous Artist etc. for young students (aged 13 to 17 years). The teaching focuses on the strengthening of skill and techniques as well as developing familiarity in the use of materials to enhance visual communication and individual expression.

Piano Class 钢琴课程

1.) Beginner Piano Class 儿童钢琴基础课程 (For Children of all ages)

It is never too young to start children on music and appreciation. This is the so-called 'tradition way' of learning piano especially for the children who do not have experience in piano at all. Younger children could start off with 30mins lessons and move towards 45min when deemed suitable.

Why choose private piano class?  

Piano teacher can customize the piano lessons for your child according to his need and at his pace. Piano teacher can adopt a suitable teaching style for your child. Preferred timing and day can be arranged. Your child can enjoy learning piano with full attention of teacher.

2.) Music For Little Mozarts 小小莫扎特钢琴课程 (4-6 years old)

The Music for Little Mozarts was an early-childhood piano course from USA. It specifically for the preschool age group (four-, five- and six-year-old). This curriculum provides a balance between the discipline necessary for playing the piano and the enjoyment one receives from the process of music making. The course centers on the adventures of Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse™ as they learn about music. Three correlating books (Music Lesson Book, Music Workbook and Music Discovery Book) at each of four levels guide the children through a comprehensive approach to musical learning, using the piano over approximately a two-years period (6 months each level). This programme can be teached in individual or groups.

3.) Leisure Piano Class (For Children of all ages)

Many parents would like their children to simply enjoy the journey of learning piano without the pressure of dealing with piano examinations while having to manage academic stress. Programmes are available to cater to development of holistic piano skills and musicianship. This programme is suitable for children who already completed the beginner piano or music for little mozarts.

4.) Leisure Piano Class (For Adults)
Many adults choose not to go for piano exams but learn for leisure. Adults may take weekly lessons of 45 to 60min.

You will learn basic notes reading, Rhythm sensitivity, Fingering technique, and Expressions. Wide range of Repertoire from Classical, Pop, and Jazz could be taught.

Adults Art Enrichment Classes 成人美朮课程

1.) Techniques on Watercolour Class 水彩画

This course is for teens or adults with or without background in art to explore, experience and enjoy the water colour painting.  The main focus of this course is for students to learn how about water colours medium. Syllabus covers water colouring techniques, blending, texturing, toning, mixing and related tools. This water colour painting course will cover how to express yourself creatively through the use of water colour painting. Wide variety of subjects from trees, bids, scenery, flowers etc. Teaching approach is to relax, explore and learn at your own pace. Teens or adults can use it as relaxation from study or work.

2.) Oil/Acrylic Painting Class 油画/压克力画

Learn to draw and paint Still Life and landscape or objects using oil or acrylics, including composition of masses, it’s form and cast shadows from direct observation. Learning the color of the light source and its impact on observed colour. Get to know the basic shapes and volumes, complex shapes based on simple components, folds and drapery. Learning the brush techniques and paint application methods, direct painting and drawing, and linear perspective.

Learning outcome: Student will be able to handle conventional oil/acrylic brush techniques as an alternative mode of expressing forms. The painting is ready to hang on the wall.

3.) Drawing & Sketching Class 素描画

Learn the different sketching techniques using pencil and charcoal. Once you know how to draw and sketch, there is nothing more exhilarating than getting a good start on a drawing. And, often there is nothing more terrifying than watching your drawing evaporate in front of your eyes as it turns into a stiff, brittle echo of your dynamic beginning gesture. It’s very difficult to hold onto that initial gesture while working on a long-term drawing. Our experienced teacher will share some personal tips on how to translate the expression and power you captured in your initial sketch drawings into your long-term drawing or painting.

4.) Pastel Painting Class 粉彩画
Pastel painting class is for adult to learn this traditional art medium - pastels, which can be in the form of dry, oil or wax based. It covers drawing, colouring techniques, blending, mixing and shadow casting. The artwork including human, scenery, still life, portrait, animals, bird etc.

5.) Batik Painting Class 蜡染巴迪画
Batik painting is a traditio al technique of fabric design origin in Java. It is also an interesting medium for contemporary painting. Students will be introduced to the history of batik, its traditional batik making process, the techniques and tools like 'tjanting' and dyeing. No prerequisite skills needed. At the end of the class, students are able to know the whole process of batik painting and express their thoughts and creativity in batik art.

6.) Basic Caricature Drawing Class 基础卡通漫画
Come and learn in the fun way of drawing caricature. Caricature is a portrait that exaggerates or distorts the essence of a person, animal or object to create an easily identifiable visual likeness. Students will be learning the basic caricature drawing with step-by-step guidance from our artist.

We are a group of art lover and artist who are passion about everything in Art!

Our Founder:
Hello everyone! My name is Jacelyn. I am the founder of Little Art Paradise, I am just an ordinary mother of 2 girls, a graduate in Banking & Financial Services from Singapore Polytechnic. I had completed my Piano ABRSM Grade 8 since i was 18 years old, and i learnt art and calligraphy when i was studied in my primary and secondary school. 

Since i had become a mother, i began to learn how to educate my children, not only in academic parts and also how to develop their interest in many ways. I started to gather the information and find enrichment classes for my children, eg. Music, dance, art etc. I even accompany my daughter for the trial class. When i realized that the programme was not enough to unleash the creativity but just copying and colouring, i think i need to do something. For me, i am not that type of mother who send my child to the class for hoping to see them win in art competition or present her artwork in nice and bright coloring. I just hope my children can learn how to express their thinking while enjoy creating their own unique masterpiece. This is one of the many reasons why i decided to set up this Art Enrichment Centre. 

Since then, i started to take up part-time art courses from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Singapore and DecoClay certified instructor courses (on-going), and i found that i love ART more and more nowadays! With the interest and passion in ART, Little Art Paradise was finally set up on 20th July 2013 together with a team of dedicated teachers who share the same passion.

Children Art Class (3-12 years old) 儿童创意美术课程

We offer unique and innovative art enrichment programme specially customized for 3-12 years old children. Each lesson for 1.5 hours. Art plays an important role in the children's development and growth. Through our PETITE ARTISTE art programme, children will learn to explore the visual world, express their mood and feeling, and form concepts of the environment.

The complexity advancement differs for the groups as we recognizes that the intellectual development varies, even though they may be just a year apart. Using the fundamentals of arts, this programme aim to unleash the inner creativity in every child.

Students will be exposed to the following art techniques in this enrichment programme : Stippling, Blending, Cross-Hatching & Doddling and Clay Sculpting Techniques. Colour Wheel, Colour Mixing, Colour Tones, Colours and Emotions will be also introduced to bring the children's colouring techniques to a higher level.

In each lessons, children will be actively engaged in activities that enhance their critical thinking and problem solving capabilities. Our programme is customized to build confidence, enhance self-esteem, focus, cognitive skills and fine motor skills.

Children Progression Report will be given every end-of-term. By doing this, parents will get to know what have your children learning about during the art class.

We keep all of our class in smaller group to cater to each different age group of children. 

We are divided into 3 groups of age:

Nursery Art: 3 to 4 years old
Kinder Group: 5 to 7 years old
Primary Group: 8 to 12 years old
** Below 3 years old child must attend our assessment class before starting.
